For this Hermanus home, we created a warm, tactile interior where natural materials, thoughtful detailing and quiet functionality come together.
Oak cabinetry, softly textured surfaces and warm architectural lighting give the kitchen a sense of permanence, while the adjoining pantry and laundry were designed with the same attention to both beauty and practicality.

MOLO Coffee
A warm, tactile coffee space designed around simplicity, craft and a sense of belonging.
Soft plaster walls become the defining architectural element, shaped into a series of playful niches that display handmade objects and bring an intimate, gallery-like quality to the space. Natural timber, woven seating and earthy tones add warmth, while sculptural lighting creates a gentle glow against the textured surfaces.
The result is deliberately understated — a small, soulful space where material, light and everyday ritual come together.

THUULA Haven
A home shaped by its landscape, designed for slow, intentional living.
Set against the mountains and open fields of the Overberg, this light-filled home is a study in simplicity, warmth and connection to nature. The architecture’s clean, gabled forms are softened inside through natural materials, pale timber cabinetry, tactile woven textures and warm, earthy finishes.
The kitchen sits at the heart of the home — generous, understated and designed to be lived in. Large windows draw the surrounding landscape deep into the interiors, while carefully considered lighting creates a softer atmosphere as the day changes.
Nothing is overly decorative. Every element has a purpose, allowing the architecture, light and landscape to take centre stage. A quiet, contemporary home rooted in place — where good design makes everyday living feel effortless.
